There are few better places to establish your aviation business, to park your airplane or to fly in for a visit than Langley Regional Airport.

Located only six kilometers from the U.S. border and 45 minutes by car from Vancouver, Langley Regional Airport is an exciting destination point in itself, and is the centre point or hub of the lower mainland Langley area.

Langley Airport has earned a reputation as a progressive community-owned airport. It is business and service friendly and is intent on being a valuable high-tech source of jobs and opportunities in the lower mainland.

The airport presently has 41 companies, of which half are helicopter related, covering nearly all activities of the industry. Its fixed wing businesses, including three flying schools offer first class service and training to international standards.

Langley Airport businesses currently employs 234 people, providing wages of 7 million dollars to bring a gross commercial income of 42 million. Approximately 6.1 million dollars is spent annually for local goods and services. The airport is home to 350 aircraft.

Some choice lease lots at very competitive rates are still available for development, as are opportunities for recreational aircraft storage and tie-downs.

Langley Regional Airport (IATA: YNJ, ICAO: CYNJ) is located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. The airport serves mostly general aviation, though charter operations are sometimes conducted. Helicopter operations are a major part of Langley Airport's traffic, and the airport has 3 helipads.

Due to the proximity of Vancouver International Airport and Abbotsford International Airport, Langley hosts no scheduled passenger service. The airport does offer fuel services and extensive hangar space though, and hosts the Canadian Museum of Flight.

History
In 1945, at the end of World War II, the township of Langley leased the former Royal Canadian Air Force airport from the federal government before purchasing the airport outright in 1967 for $24,300. Since then, the airport has been in continuous operation.
