Astana Airport
Year 2005 was quite significant not only for International Airport Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also for all Central Asia. In the very beginning of 2005 the implementation of a large-scale international airport reconstruction project was completed. Metaphorically, an eagle - one of the national symbols - spread its wings at the new terminal dome hospitably greeting guests of our capital after long flights.
We move to a new higher level, which is nowadays imposed by a competitive air transport market in the whole world. The airport of Astana received a certificate of quality complying with ISO 9001:2000 standards and in the near future it will undergo the certification of ICAO.
