Airline Lounges

The Koru Club Lounge at Dunedin International Airport is presently located on the first level of the old terminal. Access to the Koru Lounge is via a walkway through the rental car Portacoms located at the front of the old terminal. The lounge has all the standard facilities of Member Lounges throughout New Zealand.

Baby Changing Facilities

There is a Parent Room located on Level 1 (retail/boarding floor). The room is equipped with a microwave, changing facilities, nappy disposal, unisex toilet and comfortable surrounds for nurturing.

Bank/ATM/Exchange

The Bank of New Zealand is open for all international flights and provides a currency exchange service. The bank opens 2 hours prior to any international departure. In addition, you can purchase Departure Fee stickers for international travel. Full banking services are also provided. Fees for currency exchange are as follows:-
Up to $50 NZ - $2
$50 - $500 NZ - $5
Over $500 NZ - 1%

A Westpac Trust ATM machine is located adjacent to the main entrance. Westpac Trust accepts the majority of New Zealand bank cards.
Departure tax fee is $25 per adult and can be paid by eftpos, credit card or cash at the Bank of New Zealand. Children under 12 are free and must obtain an 'exempt' sticker prior to departure. ALL passengers are required to have departure stickers.

Duty Free Stores

Duty Free Stores New Zealand has three stores at Dunedin International Aiport. The first being on Level 1 (retail/boarding floor) open for viewing to the public. Purchases can only be made by international departing passengers. A second outlet is situated in the temporary international departure lounge and the third is based in the international arrivals hall. They are open for every international flight (arrival and departure) regardless of the time, day or night. They stock an extensive range of international duty free products including alcohol, tobacco, fragance, gifts and electronics. Order online at www.dutyfreestores.co.nz and have your duty free waiting for you either when you depart or when you arrive back in New Zealand. Function/Meeting Rooms

Unfortunately due to construction, we have limited facilities available. New conference facilities are currently under construction and will be available for hire early next year in 2006.

Dunedin International Airport (IATA: DUD, ICAO: NZDU) is a gateway through which visitors will pass in search of a holiday in New Zealand's south. including Dunedin. Dunedin International Airport was built in 1962 to cater for passengers of short haul aircraft, Dunedin Airport has adapted well to the modern era of air transport. From 100,000 passengers in 1963 to 520,000 in 1995 and 481,000 in 2000, with nearly 19000 aircraft movements in 2000. It is expected that by 2015, aircraft movements will reach 38,000 and well over 1 million passengers.

International and domestic flights operate into Dunedin International Airport. The airport is located half an hour's drive from the city centre. Privately owned light planes also use this airport.

Terminal facilities
Information counter

The Information counter is situated on the ground floor directly in front of the main entrance. The counter is unmanned however should you require immediate assistance, there is a buzzer located on the desk. A Customer Service Officer will respond as soon as possible. The information stand provides brochures on attractions in Dunedin City and Otago. Other services include key drop/uplift facility and phone wall which allows you to dial direct to accommodation, transport and attractions.
